In 2012, Microsoft announced that they were releasing the Microsoft Surface. The following year, the company also released the Surface Pro line, which runs most Window Applications.
In March of 2015, they released the more updated, Surface 3 model, currently the largest of the regular surface line and considered to be a smaller version of the Surface Pro 3.
